Liponyssus bursa dorsal view (tropical poultry mite, bird lice) - the common blood sucking mite of poultry in Queensland, also attack caged birds, wild birds such as sparrows, domestic animals and also man, particularly in Autumn and Summer, cause papular dermatitis.
